A stunning circa early 1800s naïve child’s chair. Totally original condition with amazing vibrant green paint and a fantastically patinated elm frame. Classically these highly decorative chairs lend themselves to becoming the home for a much-loved teddy bear. However, with the addition of a suitable firm cushion or, as supplied here, an appropriately crafted piece 19th century elm to cover the recess for the potty, this example is now more than sturdy enough to be used as a chair for a little person!
