A delightful example of this sought after utilitarian earthenware.  “Pint & VR” mark suggests an age of about 145 years.  Typical coloured slip bands on white, blue coloured body with dendritic (tree-like) markings resembling the natural geological markings on ‘mocha stone’.  Minor chips to the spout & crazing which in our view does not detract from the piece & adds to its authenticity & charm.
