This typically naïve and hugely characterful piece is thought to date from the early 1800s and oozes rustic charm.  Makers or (an) owner’s initial ‘M’ carved to the base.  Evidence of historic woodworm treated thoroughly as a precaution.  The seat is of sound construction and could readily be sat on by a small person (!) but its contemporary function is now probably best suited to decorative display.

Dimensions Seat (L, W and H): 34x12x9cm

Dimensions Seat & Legs: (H and W): 39x31cm

Ref: FGA122
